Puppets are the best actors because they are the characters.
They’re not limited by being human. The laws of physics don’t apply to them. The laws of nature don’t apply to them.
A puppet can pull off its third head or fly to the moon on a can of soda—as long as it serves the story.
And that freedom is what draws me to puppetry.
Puppets take your hand and lead you into worlds that exist only in imagination,
where only they can tell stories that live beyond the boundaries of reality—
and send us back to the real world with new eyes and an open heart.
